ProPhos Ni-1 - Suzuki cross-coupling
Our catalysts are developed and tested in-house. Using literature conditions, we screen our library against various substrates without performing any optimisation.
CataNiTek’s ProPhos-Ni-1 catalyst is an exciting well-defined nickel(0) catalyst for Suzuki cross-coupling reactions, including the coupling of functionalised heterocycles.
In our model system – taken straight from the literature (https://doi.org/10.1021/jacs.4c00370) without any optimisation:
• 90% isolated yield using ProPhosNi-1 directly (no additional ligand is needed!)
• Contrast that with only 9% yield when using NiCl₂·6H₂O + ProPhos separately – highlighting just how important the well-defined complex is
• That’s 90% yield in just 30 minutes of reaction time
